In 2005 Sharona gave birth to her first cria, a dark brown/bay black female by AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat. This lovely cria, Avalon’s Sophia, went on to win a blue ribbon in the showring in her first two shows and recently won her first Color Championship at eight months of age!
Sharona Rose’s second cria…born in 2006 ia a handsome, true black male named Encore’s Gabriel Blow Your Horn – Gabe. She again proved herself to be an excellent mother, producing good milk for her crias and being an attentive caretaker.
Sharona carries the color genetics to produce dark colored crias in black, brown, and grey. We were thrilled she was rebred to Aristocrat prior to our purchasing her. Much to our excitment Sharona Rose again proved her value as a foundation dam. She gave birth to Sienna Rose, an incredible girl who is sure to set any alpaca breeders heart beating. Sienna Rose has dense highly crimped fiber that is every alpaca owners dream. Watch for this girl in the ring during the upcoming year.
We are so happy with what Sharona Rose and Aristocrat have produce that we have repeated this breeding. Sharona will be delivering her third Aristocrat cria this fall. With what they have produced how could we not be excited.
